One of three soft-shell turtle species identified from the Fossil Butte Member.

Members of the Trionychidae family have webbed feet with only three claws on each foot. Living members are strict carnivores known to feed on fish, amphibians, invertebrates, birds, and mammals, and are found exclusively in freshwater systems.
