A larger perch with crushing teeth that did not school like C. liops.
Priscacara serrata had crushing teeth which would allow it to eat arthropods. Some specimens have fish bones in their stomach or asphyxiated with fish in their mouths. The maximum known size of P. serrata is 16 inches. It did not school like the smaller, similar-looking C. liops.
